Final touch-up on the Apples from Painting 1

Well it is the final days of the semester, and I have touched up the apples painting.  I have one close up and one of all three.  The background is much richer in color now- deeper black.  What the camera doesn't capture is that the black has all these beautiful layers of colors: red, green, purple, raw umber, each layered one over the other.

I think they have improved greatly!!!
