In The Style of Van Gogh

My first assignment in my Painting III class, pick a master painter and either copy a work or work in the "style" of that chosen painter.  I decided to paint in the "style" of Van Gogh.  This is a very tiny portrait of my friend Eddy.  He was kind enough to let me play dress up with him and pick out the outfit for the painting.  I have also posted the two images I was working from of Van Gogh's self-portraits.

Ordering Art Supplies for Spring 2011 Semester...

Busy buying supplies I know I need ahead of time, rented one book and will have to see about hopefully a used art history book.  I still have to buy canvases and paper.  I'm not quite up to this semester.  I am still under the weather and weak; hopefully, things get better. 

Copyright Completed for Zedie and New Character...

Getting work done before the semester starts next week.  I have completed the copyright process; it is all official through the US gov. copyright office.

Keeping new images under wraps for now...

I am in the process of completing the copyright on my new cartoon characters - will maybe put a few up after all is done.
