In The Style of Van Gogh

My first assignment in my Painting III class, pick a master painter and either copy a work or work in the "style" of that chosen painter.  I decided to paint in the "style" of Van Gogh.  This is a very tiny portrait of my friend Eddy.  He was kind enough to let me play dress up with him and pick out the outfit for the painting.  I have also posted the two images I was working from of Van Gogh's self-portraits.

    Van Gogh was probably trying to find employment in AZ too!!!
